Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standardizes message formatting in order to transfer data and industry standard forms between entities.  LTI needed to find a cost effective way to complete and implement the EDI standard data forms while meeting customer requests.

LTI tasked TDK to research and discover more appropriate EDI options. Analyzing LTI's data mapping and researching EDI vendors, TDK discovered LTI's current vendor offered a more cost effective "template only" option.  The template only option better fit LTI's needs and was offered at a lower rate.  The option required LTI to provide training to additional internal resources and ultimately led to significant cost savings for LTI.
