TDK Technologies Named to the Inc. Magazine 'Build 100'

ST. LOUIS (March 17, 2014) - TDK Technologies, a technology company based in St. Louis, Missouri, has been named to Inc. Magazine's Build 100 list, a group of U.S. businesses that have managed to maintain consistent growth and increased employment for five consecutive years.

Of 22 million establishments studied, less than .01% exhibited at least five consecutive years of job growth - the only statistically significant predictor of a company's ongoing success, according to Inc. Magazine.

TDK Technologies is among this elite class of smart, strategic growth companies that includes HubSpot, Fractal Analytics, and Coyote Logistics, among others.

"We are proud and grateful to be included in the Inc. Build 100," said David Kocs, Principal at TDK Technologies. "This recognition for five continuous years of sustained growth is the essence of our culture and philosophy to be a long-term partner with our clients, who have trusted us with their future growth. Our growth in employment is an important contributor to our client relationships that we strive to build and grow every day, representing a sense of stability to our clients, employees and business community. We are proud to have added jobs in each of the last five years and we plan on continuing this, a feat worth celebrating in any economic climate."

"72 percent of all new U.S. jobs are created by 1 percent of companies," says Inc. economist-in-residence Gary Kunkle. "The Build 100 represents that top 1 percent of that 1 percent. They should be celebrated but they must also be studied so that we can better understand - and replicate - the decisions, priorities, investments and strategies that helped them grow."

Placing a high value on employees is one key attribute that TDK Technologies shares with other companies on the Build 100 list. Their growth in people and talent along with customer service and technical expertise are factors that they attribute to their competitive advantage and success as a company.

Inc. unveiled the Build 100 list in its March 2014 issue and on its affiliate website TheBuildNetwork.com in early 2014.

TDK Technologies Principal, Kristin Tucker, stated that, "Yes, this is quite an honor. We work very hard at taking care of our growing list of customers. Our employee growth contributes to the overall increase in St. Louis market based jobs. We are pleased and honored to provide excellent job opportunities and support the local economy."

TDK Technologies has the distinction of being the only Missouri company on the list.
